Create a mail redirection

Introduction

A redirection is set up in an email that wants to re-send the messages received towards another email address. The redirection is used to resend the emails from a real account to another real account, opposed to the alias which is a redirection from an non-real email account.


Procedures



1. Click on Qmailadmin or on the logo

2. Enter your information:


User account: postmaster

Domain name:

Password:










3. Click on ‘login’


4. Click on "email accounts"




5. Click on the icon to modify the details of the account:




6. Configure the redirection:


Here you can enter the email address (internal or external) to re-send the emails to. You can also choose to keep a copy in the email account.
